With special congratulations made to the 2022 Dux Josephine Tanamal who scored an ATAR of 93.5, other High Achievers congratulated included Ryan Saab, Shi-Qi Li, Clara Hoang, Blake Woods, Ashlee Do, Lois Boot, Meghan Battams, Mackenzie Cole, Daniel Walsh, Tony Wong, Emon Peng and Ruby Allison.
HSC results included three students achieving an ATAR over 90, 58 students achieving 18 band 6s and 149 band 5s, three students recognised for their exemplary Industrial Technology Timber Major Project and one nominated for the HSC Encore showcase.
Ashlee and Blake then addressed the 2023 HSC contingent, with Blake saying the best advice he could give was doing past papers for practice.
“At the end of the day no matter what mark you get I want you all to be proud of yourselves, no matter what your after-school plans are, whether that be studying at university or completing a trade, finishing high school and receiving an ATAR is a feat on its own,” he said.
“For those of you who have already chosen your dream degree, I am pleading with you to apply for an early offer.
“An early offer can take so much unnecessary stress out of the HSC and help you in achieving your most desired future.
“One of the most valuable resources also available to you is the help of the school’s Careers Adviser Laura Waibel; everything she makes available is invaluable to you.”
Deputy Principal Vicki Stavros said: “We wish the HSC Class of 2022 great happiness and success in their future.”
