Coach Luke Goodwin believes the club has the talent and experience that will make them a force in the competition.
“They’ve come together really well, and the connections have been outstanding … I’m very proud of them,” he said.
“We want to grind out the wins early in the season and be there at the end.”
Goodwin is encouraging fans to turn out and show their support for the women, “they play an exciting brand of footy, throw the ball around and enjoy it”.
With NRLW experienced players like Gayle Broughton, Tayla Preston, Australian Jillaroos Holli Wheeler and Kennedy Cherrington, the club has taken no chances when it comes to carving out future success.
