College assisting youth to unlock potential and soar

SUPPORTING students to flourish academically, creatively and on the sports field, Holy Spirit Catholic College Lakemba is a proud member of the system of schools across the Sydney archdiocese.

The College is inspired by the Spirit, just as the followers of Christ were at Pentecost, to live lives that promote respect, reflection, responsibility, creativity and aspiration.
All students are provided with resources that allow them to reach their personal best and fulfill their innate potential.
The College has grown from the rich traditions of service in education through the charisms of the Jospehites and the LaSallians, led ably by our first saint in Australia, Mary MacKillop and John Baptist De La Salle respectively – under which the College attempts to foster the values of faith, hope and love.
A spokesperson said the College prided itself on offering a holistic education being an accredited facility that engaged students in the Newman selective gifted education program.
“Students are also asked to explore the creative and performing arts fields with the College also featuring the Amadeus program which offers access to orchestral instruments and tuition to promote their musical talents in Years 7 and 8,” the spokesperson said.
“The College strives to be an authentic witness to the person of Jesus Christ while offering a comprehensive education.
“Each student is well known, safe and provided with opportunities which meet the demands of life in an ever-changing world.”
