A collaboration between Rashays and Islamic Relief Australia, all funds from the night will be donated to help Turkey and Syria recover from the ongoing crisis caused by the recent earthquakes with the 33,000 dead toll expected to double, 180,000 still under rubble and 6,000 buildings destroyed.
Speakers and guests will include prominent members of the Turkish community and community leaders from the Muslim community, including Vice-Consul Bilal Aksoy from the Consulate-General of the Republic of Türkiye, Auburn Gallipoli Mosque’s Dr Abdurrahman Asaroglu, Imam Bilal Dannoun, Imam Shady Alsuleiman and State Member for Lakemba, Jihad Dib.
