As well as the Innovative Hub, CAPA Arts technology centre, oval and outdoor futsal courts, they also recently installed a new learning space within the school, an outdoor gym and a recreation area as an extension of the volleyball courts.
Catering to all students, the full-body circuit includes cardiorespiratory, flexibility and strength-based training equipment.
Acting Deputy Principal Sarah Noulas said the purpose of the outdoor learning space was to promote student engagement and build confidence in physical activity.
“The equipment, which is utilised by all students under the guidance of our experienced teachers during PDHPE lessons and school sports time, has been extremely popular,” she said.
“The area has proved to be beneficial in student learning and has added another level of diversity to our teaching practices.
“Students have provided great feedback and have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to utilise this space during their lessons. We at Kingsgrove North High School are very proud of this achievement and wish to continue to provide our students with innovative and stimulating learning spaces now and into the future.”
