Horrified shoppers watched on as several women and teenagers began fighting after school in the shopping centre in Bankstown, on Monday, January 30.
A 52-year-old woman sustained an injury to her lip and was taken to Bankstown Hospital for treatment.
Two days later and soon after school had ended for the day, a 16-year-old boy was confronted and allegedly assaulted by a group of teenagers in Third Avenue about 3.30pm.
Police spoke to the boy before a family member took him to a doctor for treatment of minor injuries and the incident was linked to a brawl in Bankstown earlier in the week.
Following inquiries, a 17-year-old boy was arrested in Condell Park and charged with common assault and affray, a 17-year-old boy was arrested in Kingsgrove charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company and affray, and a 16-year-old boy was issued a caution under the Young Offenders Act.
Last Friday, a 46-year-old woman was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company.
A 16-year-old boy, arrested the same day, was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company.
Two teenage girls aged 15 and 16 were also issued cautions under the Young Offenders Act.
