Where girls keep lifting bar higher

CONTINUING the trend of improving their HSC results with three students scoring over 98 and being in the top two per cent of the State, Auburn Girls High School students have worked hard to lift the bar again.

Principal Anna Tsoutsa says they are extremely proud of the group of confident and capable young women.
“This cohort navigated two years of disrupted schooling with grace and resilience – facing lockdowns, staffing shortages, prolonged isolation requirements and lack of exam experience with a positive mindset to ensure they gave their personal best in all their subjects,” she said.
“This demonstrates not only the outstanding work ethic and dedication of our girls, but also highlights our excellence in teaching across all faculties, particularly in STEM related subjects such as Maths, Engineering, Science and Technology.”
The staff are described as “future focused, dedicated and passionate” in their efforts to support students to learn, lead and succeed.
“We feel sure that no matter where they begin the next step of their journey, they will experience success and satisfaction having built the necessary enterprise skills during their senior schooling,” Ms Tsoutsa said.
