Ahmad Mohammed Al-Dawod came first in Arabic Continuers with other top achievers being Ibrahim Zafar – Mathematics Extension 1, Aisha Agha – English Standard, Diya Fathima Abdul Rahoof – Biology, Amina Benkhelifa – Biology, Noah Nawez Chowdhury – Biology, Omar Siddeek – Mathematics Standard 2, and Ammara Deena Usamah – Hospitality.
Executive Principal Safia Khan Hassanein said it was wonderful to see the hard work and effort of the students acknowledged.
“We are very grateful for the support received from our teaching staff, parents and the wider community,” she said.
“We are proud to see this cohort make their mark and wish them all the best in the next chapter of their lives.”
An independent co-educational school, Al-Faisal College offers boys and girls opportunities for learning from Kindergarten to Year 12.
The College was established in 1998 and although still fairly young, it has grown remarkably from its humble beginnings.
“We have worked hard to provide our students with the best and latest technology, interesting teaching and learning programs and pastoral care and it’s certainly paying off,” Ms Hassanein said.
“Our main goal is to work towards our students becoming responsible, productive and contributing members of the Australian society.”
Celebrating remarkable results
RANKING 23rd in the State, a record 65 Al-Faisal College students achieved an ATAR of 90 or above with a first in course achievement.
