New coach Adam Kingsley is encouraging fans to get out and show their support because “they will be excited by what we deliver”.
“I know we are going to play an exciting brand of footy,” he said.
“They are eager to compete and when the going gets tough our blokes are going to fight and dig in, and try as hard as they possibly can.”
The Giants have just returned from a three-day camp on Milson Island on the NSW Central Coast as part of their preparations for the 2023 AFL season and Kingsley was excited by what he saw.
The camp included kayaking, beach challenges, physical competitions and Amazing Race-style activities.
Kingsley said while the activities encouraged healthy competition, they also helped build a chemistry and connection throughout the club.
The GWS Giants will play Adelaide Crows at Giants Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park, on Sunday, March 19, 3pm.
