Now is the perfect time to give Line Dancing a go.
Liz Gardiner has been with Southern Cross Line Dancing for over a decade and says she got hooked immediately.
“You don’t need a partner but you do have to concentrate so you forget about everything else; it’s the perfect way to enjoy some ‘me’ time.”
Ideal for invigorating your brain, Line Dancing is not just done to country and western music.
“We dance to music old and new,” Liz said.
“Our chief instructor Mark Simpkin has been teaching for over 25 years and has choreographed countless award winning dances.
“He loves teaching all levels from beginners to advanced.
“And it’s so affordable at just $20 for an hour-and-a-half class; you don’t see value like that anymore.”
There is a class every Monday at Club Condell Park, 6-8.30pm (but you can stay as long as you like).
