Car lovers invited to charity car show on site at newsagents in Georges Hall

CALLING all classic and vintage car lovers – you are invited to bring your pride and joy along to the Georges Hall Charity Car Show, in the IGA carpark, on Australia Day.

The brainchild of brothers Abraham and Sam Wahhab, owners of the Georges Hall Newsagency and Cafe, the car show will take place next Thursday, January 26, 8-10am.
Car lover Abraham hosted his first car show at the premises last year and this year, will have gold coin collection boxes for Careflight, along with a free sausage sizzle for participants and fans.
“There will be some amazing vehicles on display, such as a 1953 Bentley, which is turning 70, and 1967 Ford Mustang, a 1963 Toyota 2000, a 1971 GTR Torana, a 1971 Ford Cobra and a 1984 RX7 Mazda to name a few,” he said.
“All cars and their owners are welcome to come along and enjoy meeting likeminded people; it was very popular last year and we’re expecting a large turnout, especially considering that this year is for charity.”
