Get hooked on fresh seafood

WHEN you think of Christmas, nothing beats a beautiful seafood feast to celebrate and Yugo Seafoods in Riverwood is the place to go if you don’t want to compete with 50,000 shoppers at the Sydney Fish Market.
A wholesaler of premium fresh and frozen seafood varieties, it’s now open direct to the public from the warehouse at 8-12 Skinner Avenue and in a move that’s unique from other retailers, will open it doors on Christmas Eve from 6am.
There will be Christmas specials on Fresh Queensland Cooked Tiger Prawns and freshly shucked Sydney Rock Oysters.
A store spokesperson said seafood offered very good value at the moment and customers could not get enough of the cooked Tiger Prawns, Wild Barramundi and Whole Snapper.
“Seafood also makes the perfect Christmas gift, who wouldn’t love to receive a nice parcel of salmon, some beautiful oysters or prawns or a simple fish pie? Nothing beats it,” the spokesperson said.
“We expect to have a lot of people coming in on Christmas Eve on the Saturday to pick up items for their seafood platter to share with family and friends on Christmas Day, Sunday.”
Open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, Christmas trading hours are: Thursday, December 22, 8am-4pm, Friday, December 23, 8am-4pm and Christmas Eve on Saturday, December 23, 6am-4pm.
