Appeal as home open fired upon

POLICE have appealed for help after a home in Merrylands West was shot up last month, leaving the two occupants shaken but unhurt.

Police who were called to Bristol Street about 1.40am on Wednesday, October 26, after reports of a shooting, found a number of bullet holes in the front of a home.
Raptor Squad detectives from Strike Force Helio, are appealing for assistance as they continue to investigate the shooting.
There were two people inside the home at the time but they escaped injury.
As part of the investigation, a pistol was located and seized on a nature strip in Doonside, the following day (October 27). The firearm will be subject to further forensic and ballistic examination.
Inquiries surrounding the circumstances of the shooting are continuing.
