Young can see for free all Liberty A-League games

FOR the first time ever, all registered junior players across the country – boys and girls – will be welcome for free at Liberty A-League Women games throughout the 2022/23 home and away season.

Praising the initiative, Granville Waratah Club President Noel Dona says it’s a fantastic opportunity for young players to see their heroes up close and in action.
“Interest in female football is spiking thanks to Australia hosting the FIFA Women’s World Cup next year, so it’s no wonder that we’ve had a lot of pre-registrations for next year already,” he said.
“We’re excited to think of how those numbers might go through the roof come our big registration month in February.
“I’ve been emailing all of our members to let them know they should take up this opportunity and encourage siblings and friends to register too.
“This is such a fantastic initiative and will give our five to 16-year-olds the chance to see our stars of tomorrow and dream that one day that could be them.”
Fans who take advantage of the Liberty A-League pass for the season, can take inspiration from the Emerging, Junior and Young Matildas plying their trade across the competition – not to mention Matilda squad members such as Chloe Logarzo, Larissa Crummer, Katrina Gorry and Courtnee Vine who are set to star in the A-league Women before flying the flag for Australia at next year’s World Cup.
