Police said emergency services were called to an industrial premises on Muir Road just after 4.30am yesterday, after reports a man had been injured after being trapped by a forklift.
Bankstown Police established a crime scene which has been forensically examined.
Initial inquiries suggest there are no suspicious circumstances, and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
SafeWork NSW have been notified.
