World’s best Elvis artists swivelling in to wow crowd

OUT of a line-up of the world’s best, Paul Fenech has taken out The Parkes Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest for the third time and will be offering his same stunning musical showcase at Bryan Brown Theatre next Friday in ‘Elvis Down Under’.

Performing with fellow world-renowned Elvis tribute artist, Brendan Chase, who has won the Parkes Ultimate contest twice before, Paul says it will be like the audience is getting two shows for the price of one.
“We’ll each do our own sets of songs before coming together at the end for a big encore,” he said.
“Then we’ll hand out Elvis scarves to the audience and there will be lots of crowd interaction throughout.”
With the two singers very popular in Memphis, USA, where they have performed together, Paul says it will be Brendan’s first time performing at the Bryan Brown Theatre.
“I can guarantee there will be plenty of hip swivelling and all the big numbers – from rock ’n’ roll to love songs and ballads with the ‘Elvis in Concert Band’,” he said.
“We’re so happy we get to pay tribute to the greatest entertainer of all time, he had such charisma that all the men wanted to be him and all the women wanted to be with him.”
With Elvis attracting fans from every generation, Paul’s son Anthony competed against him in the 2022 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, making it to the finals alongside his father.
“Anthony is better than me in so many ways but sometimes experience just shines through,” Paul added with a laugh.
