Residents are concerned about safety, noise and damage to the environment, including ripping up surfaces at parks and sports grounds.
“If you are a resident of Granville or the area around the Duck River and want to raise your concerns and be part of the discussions around addressing the issue of dirt bike usage in these parts of our area, we want to hear from you,” an organiser said.
Cumberland Council has been in discussions with police and the joint meeting between concerned residents, police and council staff will give the community a chance to speak about their concerns and be updated about what is being done to address the situation.
