Awards founder and Precedent Productions Managing Director Steve Loe said it was an exciting culmination to a successful awards program. “The winners exchanged exuberant hugs and cheers filled the room as they made their way to the stage,” he said. “We had a sell-out crowd that included our finalists, their families and staff, as well as our sponsors and local dignitaries, who helped to present awards to the winners.” The evening was not only announcing the category winners but an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of all the finalists. Mr Loe said that sadly, there could only be one winner in each category, “but every single one of our finalists is already a winner as far as I’m concerned”. “Just being there as a finalist is a huge achievement, and it’s always a great opportunity for business people and their teams to reflect on their successes with a fun night out,” he said. “The winners’ speeches are always heartfelt and emotional, and this year was no exception. “It’s very emotional for everyone there to see their tears and smiles as well as hear the beautiful acceptance speeches.” The awards are only possibly with the support of major sponsors Canterbury Bankstown Council, NOVA Employment and Bankstown Central, and support sponsor White Key Marketing. “Their involvement proves their commitment to their community and the businesses that thrive there,” Mr Loe said. “I would also like to acknowledge the incredible entertainment and our fabulous MC Paul Hancock who kept the evening flowing smoothly.” Businesses can register for the 2023 Local Business Awards at thebusinessawards.com.au.
