Hundreds roll in to enjoy long awaited Fest of Feet Fun Run

BELMORE’S Ian Zhou was the first man to cross the line in the 21km event at the Festival of the Feet Fun Run, finishing more than 10 minutes in front of his nearest rival, while Yagoona’s Lilian Molesworth was the first woman.

The Festival of the Feet Fun Run was held earlier this month after being postponed for the past three years and was a huge success.
“To all the runners and dads, family members, supporters who attended the festival of running on Father’s Day, we thank you for making the race a great success,” Race Director Joan Eisenhuth said.
“Congratulations and see you next year.
“Thanks also to race sponsors Unity Bank Bankstown, Bankstown Sports Club and the Foot General along with stall holders who helped to raise issues such as maintaining a healthy lifestyle, physical and mental fitness.”
Other men’s and women’s winners included: 3km, Brody Elbourne and Chloe Grogan; 7km, Cameron Dodds and Shannon Richards; and 14km, Michael Tozer and Audrey Hall.
