Bruins Basketball Association’s Coaching Director Roderick Proctor invited upcoming local talent, aged 12-17 years, to hone their moves and learn professional strategies, with all academy participants enjoying the opportunity and applauding the program.
“We are now inviting any girls between the ages of nine and 13 years, to join our Girls Development Program,” Proctor said.
“Our Girls Development program is designed for young female athletes as their first step along the Bruins player development pathway.”
The program will be held at Bankstown Basketball stadium on Fridays at 4.15pm, with sessions consisting of 30 minutes of training and a 30-minute game.

For any basketball fan keen to see the best in action, the Bruins Senior Representative Program will be taking place in April.
The Bruins will be taking part in the NSW Waratah League with their best U23 men and women players as well as a Men’s NBL1 team against the best Associations in NSW.
“We would like to invite all community members to come down to Bankstown Basketball Stadium in April and watch our men and women in action,” Proctor said.
