Christmas is all about love and the fundamental essence of Christmas is love.
It is love that makes us spend time with family and friends, and exchange gifts to express our love.
If there is no love, celebrating Christmas would not make any sense.
Christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus. Jesus is a gift from God, an expression of God’s divine love for us.
Without God’s love, the gift of Jesus and the celebration of Christmas would never have happened.
The Christmas season should be a period of celebrating the love with family and friends.
It could also be more stressful than joyful.
It could be lonely and painful for those who don’t have loved ones this time of the year. Whether your Christmas is joyful or you find yourself alone, remember that the greatest love ever known is available to you, the gift of Jesus.
This is the greatest gift, a gift of generous love, and the selfless sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.
It is a gift that reconciles people and God, bringing eternal life and the promise of God always being with you.
If you want to experience this love during Christmas, accept the gift of Jesus.
