Witness search after cyclist killed when struck by vehicle

A CYCLIST died following a crash in Bankstown last Saturday night.

About 10.45pm, emergency services were called to Canterbury Road near Chapel Road, after a cyclist was allegedly struck by a vehicle. The man was treated at the scene by paramedics, however died a short time later.
The male driver of the vehicle was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
