TWO men have been charged after an alleged road-rage incident at Greenacre last Monday afternoon.
About 2.15pm, police were called to the intersection of Roberts and Rawson Roads at Greenacre, where a Holden Commodore and a petrol tanker were involved in a minor collision while both vehicles were travelling north on Roberts Road.
The driver of the Commodore and his passenger allegedly exited the vehicle and threw a glass bottle at the tanker before pulling the driver out of the cab and assaulting him.
The injured man, 67, was treated at the scene paramedics.
The 34-year-old driver of the Commodore was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of other(s)
and his 26-year-old passenger charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of other(s), destroy or damage property, possess/attempt to, prescribed restricted substance, and intentionally throw object at vehicle/vessel risk safety.
