Tips for businesses ahead of re-opening

A cheerful small business owner with open sign

WITH most still grappling with what Covid-19 means for the future of business with many planning to re-open soon, business law expert Katherine Hawes will offer her professional insight at a free webinar event later this month.

Principal solicitor, commercial lawyer and barrister at Digital Age Lawyers, she will discuss her strategy, ‘Open, Recover and Excel (ORE)’, which she has developed as a legal treatment plan to exit lockdown for her clients.
Katherine, who will present the webinar on Thursday, September 30, 2-4pm, has a particular interest in ensuring businesses maximise their business potential and efforts as they exit lockdown, within a risk management framework.
In this presentation Katherine will outline ORE ‘return to work’ plans that consider your up and downstream contracts, employment issues, leases, loans, information management and data protection, e-business requirements and workplace safety in the ‘new normal’.
“It will come as no surprise that just as in life, business issues that have legal connotations distract us from our goals, challenge our values and disrupt us from achieving your business plan,” Katherine said.
“At Digital Age Lawyers we practice what we preach to our clients and we use one key principle, have your essential business documents up to date and implemented.
“Every business needs these documents for one very important reason – to protect it.”
