Will Hopoate will farewell Bulldogs fans with his final match in the blue and white against the Tigers at Moreton Daily Stadium in Redcliffe on Sunday.
Hopoate, has long been a favourite amongst Bulldogs fans, having joined the club in 2016, and represented the blue and whites on 123 occasions leading into Sunday.
The Bulldogs can also confirm that the following off-contract players will be leaving the club at the end of this season:
Dylan Napa, Will Hopoate, Lachlan Lewis, Nick Meaney, Renouf Atoni, Sione Katoa, Dean Britt, Chris Smith, James Roumanos, Brad Deitz, Watson Heleta and Kiko Manu.
Bulldogs Chief Executive, Aaron Warburton, thanked all the players for their efforts on behalf of the club:
“I’d like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the Bulldogs, to thank all of the players that are departing at the end of this season, for their efforts during their time at Belmore,” he said.
“Every player is a part of Bulldogs’ history and will always be welcomed back to the club.
“We now wish each of them, and their family, all the best for the future.”
