Furious at the way the State Government has handled the recent outbreak and the new restrictions, the Mayor said “it’s policy on the run and a knee jerk reaction”.
Cumberland is one of eight Local Government Areas to face tougher Covid-19 restrictions with new exercise, mask and shopping rules, and will also see the Army hit the streets to help police carry out compliance checks of stay-at-home and self-isolation orders.
