More than 15 per cent of the Cumberland population is over the age of 60 and with that set to grow over the next decade, Mayor Steve Christou says the Senior’s Festival is a great opportunity to come together and celebrate the important role seniors have in our community.
“Seniors make an enormous contribution to our community, so Cumberland City Council is pleased to offer a wide range of programs that enable their continued activity and participation in community life,” he said.
Seniors are also encouraged to visit cumberland.nsw.gov.au or contact council to find out more about the full range of services available to them.
