AFTER nearly a year, the recently opened Poppie’s Brasserie has brought dining back to Granville Diggers and is offering amazing discounts for members and guests.

With arguably the best value in Sydney, you can enjoy Asian dishes on Mondays for $10; chicken schnitzel, chips and salad on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for just $6; a $12 rump steak or $16 surf and turf on Thursdays; children eat free (with an adult meal purchase) on Fridays and Saturdays; and $12 roasts with all the trimmings on Sundays.
Owner Jason Chan, who also runs Five Spices in Canterbury, says the menu has over 40 items to ensure there is something for every palate and cultural background.
“We’ve got a delicious range of eight pizzas, with the dough made fresh everyday, handmade pasta for our seven pasta dishes, a large Asian fusion section with all the favourites, including handmade dumplings, wonderful salads, starters, snacks, kids meals, on the grill choices with pork and lamb cutlets and crispy skin salmon plus all the classics such as fish and chips, steak sandwiches, creamy garlic king prawns, chicken parmigiana and panko chicken burgers,” he said.
“There is definitely something for everyone; some clubs have more than one eatery but at Granville Diggers, there is one massive kitchen and a large seating area for over 600 so I thought I would just make the most of the space by offering a broad cuisine range to match.”
Open for lunch and dinner seven days a weeks, the Poppie’s Brasserie team is also happy to discuss catering for your next event.
