In the first alleged attack, a Hino truck reversed into the front of the shop on Auburn Road about 12.45am on Sunday, January 31.
Police said another vehicle had been waiting nearby and picked up the male driver of the Hino, which had been stolen from Strathfield the day prior.
Two days later the same store was targeted by another stolen Hino truck about 5am which attempted to reverse through the front but became stuck under an awning. The male driver again fled before police arrived.
Early last Thursday morning, police raided a home in Greenacre where they arrested a 34-year-old and charged him with face disguised with intent commit indictable offence, destroy or damage property, larceny, steal motor vehicle, attempt steal motor vehicle, and take and drive conveyance without consent of owner.
During the search, police allegedly seized a number of items relevant to the investigation, as well as a wallet containing various cards and identification, and a variety of tools, which were suspected of being stolen.
Inquiries revealed the wallet and tools were reported stolen overnight along with a Toyota Hilux.
The Hilux, which had significant ignition damage, was located nearby and seized for forensic examination.
Investigations into the incidents are continuing.
Charge man for ram-raid
A MAN has been charged as part of investigations into two attempted ram-raids on a jewellery shop in Auburn.
