With kick-off the first weekend in April and pre-season training already underway, GDSFA General Manager Scott Sadler said that although there were challenges last year, they still ran a full, yet compact season.
“We’re confident of getting through this next season without a hitch based on everything that we learned and the way the clubs implemented all of their safety protocols in 2020,” he said.
“We’re super excited to be appointing a Football Development Officer this year; he will be helping to support all of our coaches with their skills development and help put all of our clubs on the road to glory.”
A player and coach himself, Sadler says it’s important for parents to make use of the Active Kids Voucher when registering their child to offset fees.
“Our clubs are looking for players of all ages; whether you are a first time MiniRoo discovering the game or a young at heart over 45er, one of our clubs will have the perfect place for you,” he added.

Hunt for young, old to have ball
PLANNING to mark its 120th birthday in style this year after celebrations had to be shelved over Covid last year, Granville & District Soccer Football Association (GDSFA) is urging all new and existing players to register now for the upcoming season.
