Targeting unroadworthy vehicles, impaired driving, property theft, antisocial behaviour and transport offences, Operation Spoiler was conducted between 11am-6pm and involved a total of 28 officers from Bankstown Highway Patrol, the Bankstown Proactive Team, Police Transport Command and the Dog Squad. Officers also issued eight move-on directions, nine infringements for unregistered/uninsured vehicles, five for seatbelt offences and 13 for other offences, and a spokesperson said further proactive operations could be expected.
Several charged during police blitz at Bass Hill
POLICE have charged 14 people, including eight for allegedly driving without a licence and two for drug possession, during a seven-hour proactive operation at and around Bass Hill Plaza on Friday, January 15.
