Commander Keiran Gibson, assisted by his Deputy Commanders, Dianne Gibson and Rex Honey have developed and continued to hold training for the Ryde SES members whilst attending more than 600 callouts.
SES Members were also involved in fighting the bush fires and the ongoing cleanup in regional areas.
“It was inspirational to listen to the SES Members and their Executive to hear of the work they have continued to do through this difficult year,” Local Member for Ryde, Victor Dominello MP, said.
”They are highly trained in the work they do and it is important to note they are all Volunteers that our community have come to rely on to take leadership and solve issues during emergencies. ”
NSW Premier’s Bush Fire Citations were awarded to: Josephine Bezzina, Aaron Binns, Kathryn Crofts, Clifford Fenney, Joseph Gallagher, Keiran Gibson, Ann Greco, Dan Hinton, Luke Kechagias, Mark Lim, Simon McNamara, Anthony Montgomery, Robert Morton, Julie Murray, Tina Raiss, Fred Maobin Shao, Jade Victoire-Walsh, Oliver Williams, Colin Willis, Josephine San Yeung.
