It is recommended venues use a QR code from Service NSW, linking directly to your driver’s licence, however operators can also use a provider of choice.
Ahead of the game, Dooleys Lidcombe Catholic Club implemented the use of QR codes when they re-opened after Covid.

“We did it for the safety of patrons and staff and the ease of record-keeping,” proprietor Warwick Arnaout said.
Granville Diggers has also introduced the new QR coding system, saying that it had been a smooth process.
“We’re still not that busy so it’s been an easy changeover,” a staff member said.
Merrylands RSL Operations Manager David Kim says his club has been going above and beyond what is deemed compliant.
“Not only are we operating an electronic sign-in system but we are doing temperature checks upon entry,” he said.
“We are keeping our venue as safe as possible for all members, guests and staff as well as checking daily the NSW Government website for updates.”
