Art Out founder and Marrickville resident Glen Falkenstein says there’s been an explosion of street art in the Inner West and creative spaces looking to regenerate over the last few months.
“Galleries and cafes are welcoming patrons back with fresh setups and are seeking to introduce visitors to new installations and emerging artists,” he said.
“Art Out is all about drawing attention to the incredible works being developed in our community and the talent behind them.
“Even if an exhibition changes or one mural replaces another, we’ll be keeping all virtual tours active – just because works are no longer accessible doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy them and appreciate these artists and the amazing lengths they’ve gone to.
“We’re adding new sites all the time and collaborating with different artists and venues.”
If you’re an artist or are championing a space locally, Glen would love to hear from you and raise awareness of what you’re doing.
