At Picken Oval, there were convincing wins by the Women’s Division 2 and Men’s Division 3 sides.
While at Trumper Park against UTS, the Men’s Reserves had a 68-point win.
In the Men’s Premier Division game, there was an even first quarter with the Magpies letting opportunities slide but with an improved effort in front of goal, and an even spread of contributors, the main break saw the Magpies with a 24-point advantage.
The second half was a scrappy affair but with some straight goal kicking in the final quarter, notably by Ben Zoppo who kicked nine goals for the game, the Magpies ended up 52-point victors and equal third on the ladder.

‘Pies Women’s Premier Division team came up against the UTS Bats who were looking to secure a second win.
Both teams fought hard early with UTS getting first use of the ball and entries into their forward line.
The Magpies’ defence however were just as prepared and the Magpies had established a 21-point lead at half time.
A seven goal to three second half saw the Magpies secure the win helping them to a standalone third position on the ladder.
