Earlier this week, detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad began an investigation following reports a 14-year-old male student had been sexually assaulted by a female teacher while at a school in Sydney’s west.
Following extensive inquiries, investigators arrested a 23-year-old woman at a home at Greenacre about 7am today (Friday, July 10).
Shortly after, a search warrant was executed at the home, where officers seized a vehicle and electronic devices.
The woman has been taken to Bankstown Police Station where charges are expected to be laid.
The Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad is comprised of detectives who are specially trained to investigate matters against children and adults, including sexual assault, serious physical abuse, and extreme cases of neglect.

School teacher arrested over alleged sexual assault
A FEMALE school teacher has been arrested in Greenacre following an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a student.
