A LARGE crowd gathered on Saturday for the auction of 9 Baddeley Street, Padstow.
With 16 bidders registered, the hammer eventually came down at $1,280,000 – an exceptional $80,000 above reserve.
The family who had owned the home for more than 50 years, were sad to see it go but very happy with the result.
