The King pops in to hold court

PUTTING on his blue suede shows, David Cazalet (pictured) will be celebrating Elvis’ beautiful love songs as well as some of the classics from the 50s and his Vegas years, when he swings into Canterbury League Club on February 8 to give fans a special treat.

Hearing the voice of Elvis for the first time through his parent’s three-in-one TV/Radio/Record player while he was still in ‘short pants’, left David spellbound.
After singing Elvis songs, first at family gatherings and then later to friends and teachers at school, it was no surprise that he became a professional entertainer in 1992.
Born in Long Island, New York, he and his family immigrated to Australia in the 1960s, and he has used his dual citizenship to build a diverse career which included performing in Las Vegas during the 90s at corporate events, as well as starring in big budget production shows in Japan for four years straight.
Celebrating the King’s music, his latest show includes everything you love about Elvis as well as some favourite classics.
Doors open 7.30pm, for an 8pm start, with tickets: Members, $15, and visitors, $20 a person.
