“Jan and I met years ago during a game of bingo at Bankstown Sports. We don’t get to see each other very often so we try and make a day of it whenever we do and it’s always at Bankstown Sports. There is so much to do there, you don’t need to go anywhere else.
“We decided to meet up for coffee in the morning and then head to the Back to the Tivoli Show in The Grand Ballroom with Jenifer Green hosting a 90-minute concert special. We arrived a little early because they serve Devonshire Tea before the show, and the scones are so fresh. The show was brilliant and we enjoyed every second of it.
“We then opted for lunch at Greenfield Station Bistro and Sandra got a 50 per cent discount with a voucher she received from the club over the weekend when she dined with her family.
“We had also heard about the new Baskin Robbins ice creamery in the new Essentials convenience store, so we made our way through the club to see what they had to offer.
“So many ice cream flavours to choose from!
“On the walk back to the car, we picked up the latest edition of InTouch magazine so we could plan our next visit and decided to book tickets to an upcoming show, with dinner at La Piazza beforehand. We can’t wait!”
