TERRIFYING footage of commuters scrambling to save a child who fell between a train and the platform at Sydenham station earlier this year should be a strong reminder for parents to remain vigilant, especially during the school holidays.
The most common incident involving children is falling in the gap between the train and the platform, followed by accidents involving Opal barriers, and incidents of children slipping, tripping, or falling around train stations.
