Wins $13.3m but vows to stay working, invest

A LIDCOMBE man who won $13.3 million, has vowed to keep working and invest some of his multi-million-dollar prize into his growing business.

The Sydney entrepreneur in his 30s was one of three division one winners in last Tuesday night’s – each taking home $13,333,333.34.
He was having dinner when he received a text from The Lott telling him to check his ticket.
“Wow! Wow! Wow!” the man said when an official from The Lott reached out to him immediately after the draw, “I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep tonight”.
“This is life-changing. I don’t know what to say. I’m scratching my head,” he said.
“I was just having dinner when I got the text saying to check my ticket. I thought it was a scam but I checked my ticket just in case.
“I looked on the app and I saw all this confetti! I thought I’d won $13 at first.
“This is great. Really awesome.”
He said he’s going to keep working.
“I don’t plan on retiring at all. I’m going to put some of the prize into my business and I’m going to help my family,” he said.
“This is the best call I’ve ever had.
“I’m going to have a bottle of champagne to celebrate.”
