Boy gets lift with Batman

Story appeared in: Torch | September 11th, 2018

HOLY quick, lift home, Batman. Panania's Finn O'Donovan was the envy of his classmates on Monday when he was chauffeured home from school in the 'Bat mobile'. The Panania Public School student's fascination with crime fighting continues from earlier in the year when he was made an honorary police officer, and follows World Duchenne Awareness Day last Friday. Katy Brennan says her nephew, who has a dream of becoming a policeman, suffers from the muscle wasting disease, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). The Fight For Finn Foundation was set up to raise awareness of Duchenne, and raise funds for his future medical needs. For further information, visit the Fight For Finn Facebook Page.
