The course will cover listening, speaking, reading and writing using real life situations to build basic communication skills. Mini Movers for top start
PCYC Marrickville has a new program, called Mini Movers, for children under five that aims to keep young people active. In this program kids will have fun by taking part in sporting activities. Kids will develop fitness, musical movement, hand eye coordination, team work, gross motor skills, ball skills, dance moves and fine motor skills. Cost: $80 a term or $12 for casual classes. It's on Tuesdays and Thursdays, staring Tuesday, August 14, 9.30am-11.15am, at Debbie and Abbey Borgia Recreation Centre. For further info or to book, call 9559 7722.

Art of Smart tips for HSC
WANT to score top marks? For many students, the month before their final exams is extremely stressful. Rowan Kunz from Art of Smart, will show you how Australia's top students maximise their performance for their exams. Topics covered include how to review your trial HSC exam performance, how to boost memory retention and how to reduce stress levels in the lead up to exams plus more.
