LEFT searching for answers and not knowing what happened to their loved one, the emotional impact when someone goes missing can trap family and friends between hope and despair.
Among those still hunting for clues are the family and friends of Bianca Nelson, who would now be aged 41.
The 14-year-old, who had been arguing with her mother, disappeared from her Regents Park home on May 2, 1991. A friend later told investigators she was associating with a man who was a 'religious fanatic' and went missing by choice.
The teen didn't take any money or clothing with her and had been known to frequent the Kings Cross area with other young people.
