Regents Park carjacking investigation

INQUIRIES continue into a carjacking at Regents Park.
About 10.35pm on Tuesday (July 10), an 18-year-old man parked a Mercedes Benz A250 in a carpark at the intersection of Regent and Amy Streets, Regents Park, when he was approached by a man armed with a knife and threatened.
The man stole the car keys before fleeing in the vehicle in an unknown direction. The victim was uninjured.
Police from Auburn Police Area Command attended and commenced inquiries.
The man with the knife has been described as Black African appearance, 185-190cm tall, wearing a black long sleeved jacket or hooded jumper and dark pants.
