Man shot in the foot

POLICE are investigating after a man was shot in the foot in Auburn today.
About 9.40am (Thursday, June 28), emergency services were called to Phillips Street, Auburn, after reports a man was shot.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 34-year-old man, in a wheelchair, had been shot in the foot.
The man was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital.
A crime scene has been established and officers from Auburn Police Area Command are investigating.
Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a white vehicle, believed to be a four-door Lexus sedan, with tinted windows and black and white number plates.
The shooting is believed to be targeted.
