Zhihe Yu and Qing He make a plea for information on the whereabouts of their daughter, Qi Yu.
THE Chinese parents of murdered Campsie woman, Qi Yu, have made an emotional plea for information to help find their daughter.
"Our daughter has been missing for 18 days," the devastated father, Zhihe Yu, told reporters at Campsie Police Station on Tuesday.
"We are very grieving. Both of us cannot sleep every night.
"My wife's tears run dry. We ask the audience of the news, if you have any information regarding my daughter and her whereabouts, please contact police," he said.
Her mother, Qing He, was too upset to speak with reporters, sobbing as she handed out leaflets depicting images and information on her daughter.
Ms Yu, 28, last made communication with her family in China about 7.15pm on Friday, June 8, before disappearing from her Campsie home.
Detectives believe Ms Yu was taken by car to the Berowra area on the night she went missing.
Her white Toyota Corolla was later found dumped in Burwood.
A 19-year-old man was later charged with her murder, and he remains before the courts.
Campsie's Detective Superintendent Kerry Lewis has appealed for information.
"This process has been extremely difficult for Mr and Mrs Yu and police have remained focussed on trying to find their daughter," Sgt Lewis said.
"Our officers are continuing to search the Berowra area for any clues that may lead us to finding Ms Yu."
