DOZENS of residents lined Simmat Avenue, Condell Park, last Thursday morning to pay their respects during the funeral procession of much loved local hairdresser, Vicki Dimopoulos.
The owner of Vicki's Unisex Hair Salon for over 40 years, as well as living in Simmat Avenue for nearly 50 years, Vicki, 72, sadly passed away on what would have been her wedding anniversary on May 27.
She is survived by daughters Vanessa and Vaya and four grandsons.
"Vicki loved this community and would have found her procession, with so many customers, friends and neighbours looking on, as very touching," sister-in-law Suzi said. "It was an amazing, beautiful turnout and we can't thank everyone enough."
