A MAN has been charged after two men were allegedly stabbed in Dulwich Hill last Wednesday night.
Just before 11pm, police received reports of a brawl on Canonbury Grove, Dulwich Hill, and when they arrived located two men, aged 39 and 49, with lacerations to their legs.
The pair were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
During a search of the area, police located and spoke to a 31-year-old man, who was arrested and taken to Newtown Police Station.
He was charged with two counts of wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Knocked over in bagsnatch
A 66-year-old woman was injured when she was knocked to the ground during a struggle with a man who stole her bag.
Just after 9.30pm last Wednesday, the woman arrived at a house on Yelverton Street, Sydenham, when she was approached by a man from behind.
The man grabbed the woman's handbag and during the struggle, the woman was knocked to the ground before he fled the scene with her bag.
Inquiries are continuing.
Woman assaults, robs cabbie
A WOMAN has been charged after a taxi driver was allegedly stabbed in Ashfield last Sunday night.
About 10.15pm, a taxi driver attended Ashfield Police Station on Victoria Street, Ashfield, after he was injured by a female passenger.
Police alleged the female passenger allegedly stabbed the taxi driver to the head after attempting to rob him.
The taxi driver, a 50-year-old man, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for a wound to the head before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
A 24-year-old woman was charged with assault with intent to rob while armed with an offensive weapon.
