AUBURN Hospital is one of the 373 hospitals across Australia set to receive vital medical equipment thanks to people willing to let loose in this year's Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn on Sunday, May 27.
On this year's 'wish list' for Auburn Hospital is a Jaundice Detector ($4,780) for the Maternity Department and a Broselow Paediatric Colour Code Cart ($5,240) for the Operating Theatres/Recovery.
A fun day out for the entire family the Balmoral Burn includes a 420 metre race category for everyone, including the family pet, while for those who like to really 'feel the burn', the high intensity obstacle challenge 'Hill of Hurt' will return for its fourth year.
Created by Humpty Dumpty Foundation ambassador and Wallaby legend, Phil Kearns, 18 years ago, the event has raised more than $30 million to date.
Entry starts from $15, and register online until Saturday, May 26, at 5pm for an early-burn discount on selected race categories.
